The meeting called to order at 1:00 PM by Chairman John Heimerl.

Disbursements and receipts:
The meeting for the month of July was held on the 14th and was sponsored and directly paid
for by Cindy Edwards of BGS Broadcast General Store.
A check card purchase was made in the amount of $61.07 from The Silver Gallery for a Salisbury
Chesapeake Bay Cup for the 2016 SBE Chapter 54 Engineer of the year.
A deposit was made to SBE Chapter 54’s account in the amount of $533.75 from SBE Nationals
for our yearly membership rebate.

SBE National: John Heimerl reported on SBE contract engineering business report.
SBE National Mentoring Program. July 25th SBE Board elections ballots will be emailed.
The new SBE Handbook is available from SBE Store.

EAS: John Heimerl reported the EAS National Periodical Test (NPT) will be September 28 @ 2:20pm EDT.
Updates for Sage and Dasdec EAS encoders is available.

Membership: No report

New Business: John Heimerl discussed day of training and certification for the November meeting.
Richard Siff is looking for used HAM equipment.

June Minutes Correction: The SBE National June report was entered into the minutes incorrectly.
There was no report. ***(correction made of the June 2016 minutes, on the web site, Ted Hand)***
