The meeting called to order at 1:05 PM by Chairman Ray Lenz.

April meeting minutes were read by Secretary Billy Harrison.

Treasurer's Report was given by Kimberly Beeman, Chapter Treasurer
Disbursements and receipts:
A check card purchase was made from The Pita Pit in the amount of $171.48 for May’s lunch.
A check card purchase was made in the amount of $63.90 from Norfolk Florist for a plant for a member of Chapter 54’s death in the family.
Also, a check card purchase was made in the amount of $ 23.53 to Food Lion for waters, chips and cookies for May’s meeting.

SBE National: John Heimerl reported Audit procedure changing for Non-Profits

SBE Fall meeting in Madison Wisconsin. Discussion for how to bring in younger people into broadcasting.

New Business: Chapter 54 Engineer of the Year is John Heimerl.

Richard Siff is looking for presenters at Great Bridge High School.

Program: Greg Lesko of Hampton University brought his newly renovated production truck for show and tell.
