Chapter 54 Meeting Notes: December 2014

Chapter 54 Meeting Minutes: December 2014

Location: WHRO Studios, Norfolk, VA

The meeting called to order at 1:10 PM by Chairman Ray Lenz.

Self-Introductions:

November meeting minutes were read by Secretary Billy Harrison.

Committee Reports:

Chapter Treasurers Report was given by Treasurer Kimberly Beeman
The meeting for the month of December is sponsored and lunch is directly paid for by Joe Davis with RF Consultants.
There have been no receipts for this month.
Balance in Chapter Accounts:
Checking: $2,730.39
Petty Cash: $244.05
Total Chapter Assets: $2974.44

SBE National: National communications director is changing. Chapter 54 liaison is Ted Hand.
John Heimrel is helping Chapter 60. @sbe.org email address will be free to members starting in Jan. 2015

EAS: Nothing to report

Certification: Charles Stutsman passed the CBNE test

Frequency Coordination: Nothing to report.

Web: Nothing to report

Membership: Nothing to report

New Business: Chapter Audit was conducted before the December meeting by Billy Harrison, Gary Becknell and Kim Beeman. All of the accounting records were correct.

Ray Lenz solicited the members for ideas on programs in 2015.

Program: Joe Davis of Chesapeake RF Consultants, LLC presented the FCC’s proposed UHF frequency band repacking for television stations. VERY INTERESTING.

The meeting was adjourned at 3:05 PM.
