The Meeting called to order at 1:00 PM by Chairman Ray Lenz

Self Introductions:

August meeting minutes were read by Secretary Billy Harrison

Committee Reports:

Treasurer's Report was given by Treasurer Kim Beeman.
Disbursements and Receipts:
The August meeting was held on the 8th and was sponsored and was directly paid for by Carl Davis of ERI.
A check card purchase in the amount of $198.37 was made from Panera Bread Catering for September’s lunch.
A check card purchase in the amount of $31.70 was made from Food Lion to pay for waters and sodas.
$10.00 was taken out of petty cash for the tip for Panera Bread for September’s lunch.
Balance in Chapter Accounts:
Checking: $3,168.37
Petty Cash: $259.05
Total Chapter Assets: $3,427.42

SBE National: John Heimerl is attending SBE National meeting in Indianapolis, October 29th and 30th.

EAS: Nothing to report.

Certification: Nothing to report.

Frequency Coordination: Wallops Island is continuing to use BAS Channel 7.

Web: SBE 54 Forum site was spammed. Ray Lenz is working to correct issue.

Membership: Nothing to report.

New Business:
Chapter Audit: Kim Beeman, Billy Harrison, Bill Sewell & Gary Becknell performed an audit
of the chapter accounts for the previous year (2012). All accounts were correct.

Nominating Committee:
The nominations that were submitted are as followed:

Ray Lenz has put up a site to vote for officers and board members.

Program:
Richard Siff will be showing the work he has been doing at the Chesapeake Science and Technology Center.
He will be showing the Cube Sat and Fun Sat, amateur radio tools that vane be used in the class room environment.
