Chapter 54 Meeting Notes: June 2014

The meeting called to order at 1:05 PM by Chairman Ray Lenz.

A purchase in the amount of $213.93 was made from Jason’s Deli for June’s lunch.
There have been no receipts for the month of June.

Certification: Richard Dyer discussed certification promotion and training for future discussion.

Frequency Coordination: From Bill Sewell of WTKR. We recently found that our STL link is actually
on the opposite polarity of what it was licensed for, and has most likely been for some time. We are re-filing applications to make this change.
WPWH660 (WTKR ATSC STL, 6950-6975Mhz Norfolk->Suffolk, licensed for V, actually on H). WHRO also has a link on this frequency.
WHQ261 (WTKR ICR, 7025-7050Mhz Suffolk -> Norfolk, licensed for V, actually on H). No one else in the market is on this frequency.
WHY572 (WTKR ICR, 7075-7100Mhz, Suffolk-> Norfolk, licensed for H, actually on V). WKTD-CA has a link on this frequency.

Second Item: Blossom Point DOD Satellite Uplink facility in Maryland…
This is in addition to an earlier 2GHz BAS spectrum use requested earlier in 2014.
